Dip your toes in the sand at Sunset Beach, just across Beach Ave from Martello Tower. Walk or bike along the shared seawall bike/pedestrian path to find Alexandra Park and English Bay Beach Park, near the iconic Inukshuk landmark. Keep going a little farther and you'll hit Morton Park, and then the stunning Stanley Park.
Restaurants
The Davie Village neighbourhood of the West End is just blocks away, perfect for your morning coffee run, your evening drink out with friends and every meal in between. You can try a different place every day of the week, like a mini-world tour of delicious international cuisine. All the best restaurants in Downtown are on the menu, as well as eateries in Kits, Granville Island and Stamp's Landing thanks to the False Creek Ferry, ride share or transit.
Transportation
Catch a local shuttle bus right on Beach Ave, hop on the False Creek Ferry or just walk when the sun is shining. You can also catch the Canada Line Skytrain at Yalehouse-Roundhouse Station for rapid transit access to Richmond/YVR, the Downtown Waterfront and along Cambie Street.
Shopping
The best of Vancouver shopping along Robson Street is walkable or you can grab a ride share or bus if your arms are a little full with bags. Need groceries? You've got an independent grocer on Davie Street, or Fresh St. Market less than a 10-minute walk away on the other side of Burrard Street.
Schools
For the little ones, you've got Lions Gate Montessori, about 10-minute stroller walk away. Lord Roberts Elementary School (about 15 minutes walk) and King George Secondary School (15-20 minutes walk) are your catchment schools for the West End.
